"Kona Boys"
A classic gathering place! Kona Boys' building was once a pool hall.

"Miloli`i Beach Shack"
Used in Elvis Presley's "Girls, Girls, Girls" movie, this old beach shack still stands in Miloli`i - a classic!
"Na`alehu Fruit Stand"
Originally located at sea level at Honuapo, this building was moved up to Na`alehu town after a tsunami. It was recently torn down to be replaced by an elder care facility.
"The Trading Company"
A busy store at the Four Seasons, Hualalai - this building is reminiscent of earlier times in Hawai`i.
"Eva Parker Woods' Cottage"
The cottage here hosts weekly 'talk story' events & is an oceanside gathering place at the base of Mauna Kea.

The Hawai`ian People
Always inspiring, always beautiful & gracious, the Hawaiian people featured here are practising their talents.
This 40" x 30" Original acrylic on canvas features Aunty playing her ukulele at the Waiohinu Hula Festival circa 2003.
"Aunty Shares Her Quilt"
Displaying her hand-sewn marriage quilt, is Aunty Harriet Soong. Her quilts grace the Smithsonian Institute, as they represent the best of Hawai`i.

Sitting in front of his school's mural which features a warrior riding a shark, this teenage graduate is proud of his heritage & the fierceness of his people.

Years ago this palm leaf weaver graced the entrance to Akaka Falls displaying his skills from the past.
