Started to study pineapples after growing them. Little did I realize how fun & lively they would turn out! They're some of my favorite paintings.

A classic gathering place! Kona Boys' building was once a pool hall.

Used in Elvis Presley's "Girls, Girls, Girls" movie, this old beach shack still stands in Miloli`i - a classic!
Originally located at sea level at Honuapo, this building was moved up to Na`alehu town after a tsunami. It was recently torn down to be replaced by an elder care facility.
A busy store at the Four Seasons, Hualalai - this building is reminiscent of earlier times in Hawai`i.
The cottage here hosts weekly 'talk story' events & is an oceanside gathering place at the base of Mauna Kea.

This 40" x 30" Original acrylic on canvas features Aunty playing her ukulele at the Waiohinu Hula Festival circa 2003.
Displaying her hand-sewn marriage quilt, is Aunty Harriet Soong. Her quilts grace the Smithsonian Institute, as they represent the best of Hawai`i.
